Rotterdam Shortsea Terminals Achieves Certifications, Strengthening Commitment to Excellence

Rotterdam Shortsea Terminals (RST) is excited to announce that it has received the esteemed certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and ISO 45001 April last. These certifications further demonstrate RST’s unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality management, environmental responsibility, information security, and occupational health and safety.

ISO 9001 certification recognizes RST’s dedication to delivering exceptional quality services that consistently meet customer expectations. By aligning processes with this international standard for quality management, RST ensures that its shortsea terminal solutions are of the highest caliber.

RST has also been awarded the ISO 14001 certification, which recognizes the company’s efforts in environmental management. This certification underscores RST’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact, implementing sustainable practices, and promoting ecological balance in its operations.

Further exemplifying its dedication to information security, RST achieved the ISO 27001 certification. This certification verifies that RST has implemented robust information security protocols, ensuring the protection and confidentiality of sensitive data. By adhering to these rigorous standards, RST instills confidence in its customers, assuring them that their information is handled with the utmost care and security.

In addition, RST’s commitment to the health and safety of its employees is evident through its ISO 45001 certification, which was obtained last year in 2023. This standard focuses on occupational health and safety management systems, reflecting RST’s determination to create a safe work environment and prioritize the well-being of its workforce.

We are proud to announce that as part of our significant long term investment plan  we will be receiving 6 new Straddle Carriers later this week. 

RST is expanding and replacing part of it’s fleet targeting additional capacity, higher efficiency and of course constancy tracking and improving our impact on the environment.
