Rotterdam Short Sea Terminals is located at Eemhaven in Rotterdam and is directly connected to waterways, roads and railways. The facility consists of two quays: The North side and the South side.
Rotterdam Short Sea Terminals is directly connected to road, rail and inland waterways.
The North side quay of the terminal has a length of 500 metres. On this side of the terminal cranes and straddle carriers ensure efficient loading and unloading of cargo. Punctuality and effectiveness is key in this process.
The South side quay has a length of 1300 metres and is home to unique processing methods. The ship-to-shore cranes are some of the quickest in the world. They allow us to optimize efficiency by reducing the number of crane movements without load to a minimum.
