Rotterdam Shortsea Terminals release new safety and site regulations for road transport

At RST, we make every possible effort to optimally serve our customers, Whereby a safe working environment is of high importance for our employees and all visitors, such as transport companies, at our terminal.

Therefore we would like to inform all drivers visiting RST, as part of the City Terminal, on the following matters:

  • Safety & Site Regulations
  • Terminal zones, gates and truck stop locations
  • License plate recognition for efficient handling
  • Gate instruction
  • Storm and terminal closings
  • Zero Tolerance Policy

Our first family festival was a great success

On the 22 of September last we head the pleasure to welcome colleagues, friends and families and host the first RST family festival event. 

A day where proud colleagues had the opportunity to share great food and drinks with the loved ones and show them around at our terminal location in the Rotterdam Eemhaven area.  A great opportunity for all to showoff the important terminal hub that RST is and which they call there workplace 24 hours per day 365 days per week.

The sustainable voyage continues

Where we reported about the green methanol-powered feeder network of X-Press Feeders in July with the christening ceremony of MV ECO Maestro we are proud to announce that this sustainable project is expanding rapidly.

Celebrating BG-Green’s 10th call @ RST

BG-Freight Line is a valued customer at RST for already more than 15 years. We are proud to be part of the development voyage of BG-Freight Line as a shortsea specialist providing a wide service offering which include door to door, feeder and shippers owned shipping solutions within a wide European network where the Port of  Rotterdam and RST act as one of the central hubs. 

Sustainable Energy Update – Solar Powered Shore Connection and Gate

We are proud to announce our next step to reaching our sustainability goals and contribute to a greener planet. 

As per this month RST has connected her very own solar park, partly delivering the needed power supply for our very first shore power connection, gate and charging stations for electric cars.
