Workers Memorial Day

Today is Workers Memorial Day. A day where we take a moment to think about colleagues and workers around the world who lost their lives on the job or due to work related illness.

Within the Port of Rotterdam and of course also at RST it is a yearly custom to use our cranes and equipment to salute those who are no longer with us.

Besides the importance of remembering those who we lost, today is also about the future. This day even so importantly renews our focus on what is important to us as a company and as colleagues within that organisation. Safety and corporate social responsibility towards colleagues and as an example visiting vessels and their crews is on our daily calendar and today reminds us why that is so important.
